One that deserves special mention is specifically written for parents of, and children with, Attention Deficit Disorders. Getting children to read is a high priority. Most prefer to read articles designed to interest them at their age. Writing needs to be appropriate to developmental level in order to be read easily, without too many errors. Short items, often with pictures to supplement text, are good for children. Almost everyone can remember starting out with Highlights for Children, usually in their pediatrician's or dentist's office. This publication continues to draw children to it's pages, and so it is an easy recommendation. They also have a new publication for younger children.
